GUI & API Test Automation Framework

A hybrid Java framework that tests a web shop's UI and a REST API in one suite, with a Dockerised Selenium Grid and CI.

The problem

UI and API tests usually live in separate projects with separate reporting. This framework runs both from one TestNG suite with shared utilities and reports.

What I built

Page Object Model with a fluent API, data-driven tests from JSON and Excel, a browser factory, element and API action helpers, validations, Allure and Extent reports, video recording, and Log4j logging. Tests run against WeatherShopper (UI) and JSONPlaceholder (API).

How I tested it

GitHub Actions runs the suite headless and publishes Allure and Extent reports as artifacts. A Docker Compose Selenium Grid (Chrome, Edge and Firefox nodes) runs it in parallel locally. Dependabot keeps dependencies current.
